Ho-Ho-Ho! Merry Christmas!

For those of you who are friends with me on Facebook, you've probably seen most of these pictures, but it's still nice to see Our Year In Fast-Forward:

March Christopher and Deleise Varner get engaged.

August Ryan comes home from Ukraine.

The long-awaited ..... handshake!

And in less than a week, Ryan and Jonah move as roommates to Logan, UT
to attend Utah State University.

Silver Bells!  Silver Bells!  First wedding day at the Merrick's.

Ring-a-ling! Hear them ring! September 27 is the day.

October Ryan and Chiara Kindt get engaged.

Silver Bells!  Silver Bells!  Second wedding for the Merricks.

Ring-a-ling! Hear them ring! December 15 is the day.

Other news:
Chanelle (14) is AMAZING at ballroom dancing -- you should watch her, sometime!

Jacob (5) continues saying funnies.

 

Aiden (12) has been busy with scouts and camping all year.

Jordan (9) auditions and lands a major lead as Boy/JoJo in their school production of Suessical for March 2013.

Rick gets his long-time dream of working as a builder (refurbisher) of a Temple.

Angela went to California to watch Michelle play a cameo role that totally whomped on all cameo roles (the way Michelle interpreted her character!).  Angela also played a baroness and a nun in the nun chorus of Sound of Music in her community.

May 2013 be a great and prosperous year, full of family love <3

Ryan & Chiara's Wedding

Ryan and Chiara Kindt were married in the Utah Logan Temple

 

Brother and Sister Merrick.

 I know there are pictures of the bridesmaids 

(3 sisters, including Chanelle, and 1 bestie). 

 

Although a tiny picture, it is a pretty one. :)

 

 The Chateau at La Jardin in Sandy, Utah.  Beautiful reception center in a very large greenhouse.  

Lots and lots of live greenery, and charming places around for picture-taking.

After the wedding line there was ballroom dancing! I loved dancing with my husband and boys!

 

This is one enchanting corner of the Chateau.  

The children enjoyed playing a bit like a tea party while eating their cake at the table.  

They had the corner to themselves.

The newlyweds seemed to be a bit nervous about cutting the cake "correctly", but did a great job!  

They fed the cake to each other at the same time, with their fingers, gently and cleanly, then attacked each other with a major, back-bending kiss.

 Ryan and Chiara.  They look like, and their names sound like, they could be Irish royalty.
